Fun, Fun, Fun! Possibilities are endless with this one, too! Make a pillow, blanket, wall hanging, jacket patch ~ you dream it, you can do it! This pattern is written in list form so if you print, you can highlight and check off each step as you go.

materials:

  • #4 Worsted Weight Yarn
  • G (4.0 mm) Hook
  • H (5.0 mm) Hook

gauge:

  • SC
  • 8 Rows x 7 Stitches = 2″ Square
  • My finished block is 8″ x 8″ without finished edging

US abbreviations:

  • CH – Chain
  • ST – Stitch
  • SC – Single Crochet
  • BO – Bobble
  • Knowledge of Chainless Foundation

notes:

  • From row 8 on, all even numbered rows will be the front of your work that you work 32 ST across.
  • Bobble Stitches are worked when you are on the backside of your work – they push outward to the front.
  • If you are unsure about the Bobble Stitch, check online tutorials. Bobble is similar to doing a DC you don’t finish and end up with 7 loops on your hook before pulling the yarn thru all loops on hook.

After the SC edging you may choose to stop or add a crab stitch, or puff stitch border.
You can find several tutorials online – bordering options are endless.
